EQ HAS TRIPLE THREAT IN IT'S DNA
EQ stands apart from their competition with a unique mix of proven experience, youthful energy, make or miss mentality and family ties. Dakota Rae’s two younger brothers – Michael Edwards and Evan Randall – are founding Partners in the business, combined with Dakota they are the driving forces behind EQ’s Leadership team. With vision they have opened a whole new set of doors and broke a few glass ceilings along the way by tapping into the all-important Millennial and GenZ markets.
EQ’s secret sauce was born via sports and triumph as they as are war torn and battle tested athletes: Dakota was a high-profile basketball recruit in high school and switched sports to play for Team Ontario in rugby leading them to gold as their Fly-half (point guard, quarterback) before moving up to play for Team Canada on a national stage. Michael was another high-profile recruit in basketball and left Canada at the age of 15 to pursue his dreams across the border attending prep schools in Arizona, North Carolina and Florida, eventually securing a scholarship to play at the collegiate level in Utah.
Evan, the youngest threat, played several sports at a high-level including hockey, soccer, basketball and football. They are all winners in their respective fields of choice but collectively destiny has its own voice and forced them to build this new triple threat of young, hungry professionals just like the talent and brands they represent.
Prior to launching EQ in 2016, Dakota Rae began her sales career as the youngest employee at The Herjavec Group, helmed by Robert Herjavec who was most impressed with her natural leadership, rare breed of competitiveness and willingness to take measured risks….so much so that he featured her successes in his best-selling 2013 novel “The Will to Win.” George Frempong, Co-Founder and SVP Sales with THG is another mentor for Dakota who continues to provide invaluable insights as her business continues to grow.
